P0106 After Rough longer than usual start

Today I started my car after work and the cel came up after connecting my scanner code P0106 Code Showed "Manifold Absolute Preassure/Barometric Pressure sensor.

Car runs perfectly fine and with power, only with the cel light.

I have'd erased the code before (150 miles) hoping with was something simple cause the car runs so fine, But it has appeared now I'm seeking for answers/help.

Haven't changed the air filter since I bought the car a pretty long time a go can this be the probable cause? I really do not know..

I think you have a bad Map sensor, #: "005 153 50 28" or "006 153 13 28"..

ZAYED,,
Hey thanks for your reply, can I ask you why you make that conclusion?
Are map sensor's a common component that fails over time?

Thanks

Not always, but in some cases; ECU catch an Error signal from Map sensor,

which shows in your dash as Engine light or Warning message..!!

Prefer if you can replace it,,

or try to put another one to see if code will show-up again..
