W208 CLK55 always lunch on 2nd gear even with floor throttle, ECU reseted, on S mode
i have a 2001 CLK55, for some reason, it always lunch with 2nd gear, i tried disconnect battery over night after it does start with 1st gear for 1-2 lunches. i made sure i floor the gas pedal all the way , the switch on the shifter console is on S not W.
also my car doesnt kickdown either, when i drive 10-20mph i floor it, car will keep pull on the 2nd gear all the way then shift to 3rd.
manual shift is the only way to get the 1st to work, are all clk55 are lazy on 1st gear or just my car. Thanks for reading

nothing lazy about my ride
X2 While I don't track my car or slam my foot to the floor at traffic lights, there has not been one passenger or mechanic who hasn't gotten out of the car after the ride, walked around it and then said something like, damn this car can pop when you need it or jeez where do you hide all that giddyup... from a dead start or a rolling one I absolutely love how she digs in authoritatively and makes everything around her feel a breeze as she blows by, all without even thinking about breaking a sweat or as the GF says, never even ruffling her Sunday dress.
