Question Does It Matter Which CPS??

Recently noticed the CLK was running a bit rough at idle, and last night at the dry cleaners it failed to start. The car would turn over with plenty of power, it just never caught. Suspect the CPS. Will be doing a DIY replacement.

Is there a significant difference in performance/reliability between the $129.00 OE part and the $29.95 part offered by some?

Thanks
