weight of clk63 without top/inner comp
Does anyone have an idea of how much the clk63 conv top and inner mechanism for the power top weigh. I have a potential deal with a broken convertible top but I really want to just to gut the top/parts anyway for weight savings. My plan is the vehicle will be a dedicated weekend car for sunny days in socal.

Ken - I've been wanting to do the same thing, for the same reason. The CLK is a daily driver right now. By next summer the plan is to drive it only on clear days - no need for the vert top. Would be interesting to see what the weight savings would be. Greg
