Recommend a muffler for clk55
I'm looking to get a muffler to replace the stock on my cab. I got these c63 tips that i want to put in on both side by bringing left pipe around behind the bumper but exhaust shop said stock muffler is too long for those tips so I need a shorter muffler. I'd like to have a sound similar to the C63. any recommendations for which muffler to get?

Check out magnaflow on the less expensive end or eisenmann if your budget allows it.
Also, back from my SVT cobra days, I use to run Bassani. Great quality, they have universal mufflers as well.

No matter what you do,you won't get an exact C63 sound ==> different engine, displacement, firing order, DOHC vs SOHC (m113).
However, with a 63 muffler you could make it similar. I've seen a C43 with C63 mufflers and it sounds beautiful.
Although I prefer Eisenmann if you have the $$$ => best sounding exhaust IMHO.
