95K miles on '02 CLK55 cab ... time to refresh suspension/front end?

Relatively new owner (9 months). I can feel through the steering wheel, and hear, a click while turning. It's more likely to occur, or at least more likely to be noticeable, the harder the turn is. I'll be getting a Service A shortly, and the mechanic we go to will tell me what's up with the front end, so I don't really need to diagnose that issue.

However, with the car 13y old and at @95k miles, I'm wondering whether it's time to "refresh" the suspension: replace/upgrade components that one can safely assume are worn, or are wearing and will need to be replaced in the next 20-30k miles and 3-4 years anyway. I'd just as soon get all it all done in one fell swoop rather than fix this now, that later, and the other thing even later, particularly if it reduces repetitive labor.

Any suggestions on what my approach should be? If I can get improved handling using quality aftermarket components, I'd consider that as well.

Thanks,
Mark

The first place to look is the steering box bolts. Inside drivers side front wheel well. They need to be tightened periodically. And will cause a clunk if loose. Lower ball joints get sloppy, lower a arm bushings crack upper a arm can get play. Steering parts. All this stuff adds up over time. Good news is these parts are easy to get and not super expensive.

I drive it whenever I can, which is pretty much daily, with the top down when weather permits, which is most of the time here in parched CA. I commute by bus so it's not much of a drive to the bus stop
