2000 CLK55 with Kleemann S/C Kit?

very happy with my W210 E55, but always intended having a supercharged merc. Come across a tidy 2000 CLK55 and thought it would be an ideal supercharging candidate.
Is/was there a s/c kit put out by Kleemann for the CLK55?
If not, has anyone tried adapting the W210 E55 S/C kit to the CLK55?

I understand that Kleemann no longer make the kits for these older cars, so here's hoping I can find one on or off a car.

Cheers

I think the W209 CLK would be a better candidate for S/C.

CLK Cabrio
How so?

The compression ratio of the w209 is higher although only by .5. compared to that of the w208.

I've just seen more supercharged W209s than W208s but they're both possible. Contact Kleemann and they should tell you everything you need to know.

Search old posts by blackbenzz for info on his bad *** supercharged Kleemann CLK55 before he changed it to a Weistec blower.

You can definitely put a Kleemann SC on a CLK55 208. Great fun car if you ask me! Look for the older autorotor models (obviously used). Man I miss that blower. So much fun and not alot of headaches. Just so you know, I was running 10.5 in the 1/4 mile on pump gas with the kleemann sc on my 208 55. I was snapping axles left and right at that point but I think it could've gone faster if I swapped axles and upped the boost.

This is a little off topic, but would it be worth it to SC my CLK500 (2005 w/95K miles) or just get a W204 C63 coupe in a few years?

That's personal preference. How much do you like your car vs a C63?

I like both cars. Just thinking that a CLK coupe is lighter than a C63 coupe and with the SC and other mods it could make more power than a C63, but I'm wondering if it's worth the hassle of adding forced induction.

If it were me I'd go C63. But I would rather get the W204 sedan. I don't know how strong the 500 internals are

Personal preference. I don't like the C63 coupe style at all. And I'm a coupe guy! (have 3 right now)
