any clk55s with c63 muffler?
Any w208 or w209 clk55s with c63 mufflers?
Im curious what this will sound like. Its the closest thing to my car and noone in the w202 section has done this mod...
Ive seen them on w211s but thats a different exhaust setup plus its longer so Im sure the sound will be a little different no?

Sound has a lot to do with the crank angle, engine displacement and degrees, a ton of other things.. I know you're probably hoping for the wrap sound that comes from a CLK/C63, but just the muffler isn't going to do it.... If you search a bit, people have tried.

none... for now
Do you have just dual tips? Even on the CLK63 the verts had double and coupes had quad. That means you'll have to find someone who bought a CLK63 vert muffler(or rigged up a single muffler from a coupe). Certainly a tall order.
What kind of mid pipe do you have?

Yea I just have dual tips.
Right now the exhaust is stock except for removed resonator. Not sure what the pipe diameter is on these cars. Proba ly same thing as 208/210 amg
Im pretty sure the exhaust is completely identical to a w208clk.

I would start by asking the CLK63 vert guys to post pictures of their exhaust, as apparently there are 0 on the internet somehow. Then, go from there mimicking that.
But as already stated, you're dealing with a completely new engine family, and down over 500rpm's.

My next exhaust setup will be tig welded long tubes, cat deletes, res delete, to dual c63 mufflers for the back pressure. Hoping it sounds good as well. I'll post clips once it's finished within the next month as I have a lot of other things going on with the car right now as well.
