Help: CLK W209 Climate Control Issue
Hello guys! i just came across a little problem with my car recently...
Today I noticed some cold air was coming out o the "feet area" where the pedals are..
I noticed this cause I was changing settings on the climate control and the knob that controls driver side was a little stuck when turning; Air then reduced from cockpit zone and more on to where the pedals/feet...
What could this be? Faulty climate control? I read somewhere something about the flaps but i really dunno
Any input ?
Thansk!

You need to include the year of your car because the controls changed. Also, there is nothing different about an AMG when it comes to climate systems. There are quite a few threads about this problem on the regular W209 forum, including one the last couple days.

AC/ vent controls
I have what may be a similar issue with my 04. Knob controlling where the output goes doesn't seem to change anything when I turn it around. Always seems to blow everywhere and doesn't adjust. AC got so cold on my feet that I taped over the vents in footwell. Could there be something disconnected or a switch that's bad? I can live with it but would be nice to be able to adjust the flow of air as long as I don't have to replace the whole unit. Thanks for any advice!

I dont have this control head in my W208 but most problems stem from a clogged cabin filter or vacuum supply line cracked or loose.
Codes can be retrieved to test all the sensors. and a Star C4 hook up will tell all.
Cheers
