Does this sticker mean anything or just for the show?

i believe all mb come with a sticker like that or similar based on when it was produced. I took mine off when I tinted the windshield..

if you google mercedes windshield sticker you can find the part number to that one and different variations of it

I think that is the part number in the lower left which make me think they used it on the SL also.

All Mercedes come with a window sticker like that on the right front of the windshield.
Although I don't think the W163 ML's came with them. My 1999 ML430 did not have one. Maybe the original windshield was broken and replaced?
