A strange rocking feeling, like a misfire

When I stop the car (like at red light), there is an intermittent very light push, like a very light sideways rocking, coming from the engine. Maybe once in 2-3 minutes. My mechanic also felt it, he compared it to a minute misfire, he ran diagnostics and found NO codes. What could it be?
This is not felt when the car is moving.

usually a plug or wire would throw a code...i would think it could be a very small vacuum leak, a fuel filter clogged, mass airflow sensor a little dirty(also would probably throw a code) or an engine or transmission mount failing (if its constant)

I'd check the torque on the plugs first. If the plugs were not torqued properly it's not unusual to find a loose one. Also, if the threads are gunked up with oil or anti seize you can get a misfire at idle. If your valve covers or breather box covers are leaking you can get enough oil and crap on the coils to cause a misfire at idle.
