Thanks to Blackbenzz for pointing me to Peter Lee and ISP Racing in Beltsville, MD.

Had the guys at ISP modify an AFCO Pro-Series Shelby GT500 Double Pass H/E to replace the Kleemann H/E. Had the 5/8" inlet/outlets removed, TIG'd shut and replaced with 1" pipes installed on the side. They modified the hanging brackets for the H/E to securely support the larger AFCO.

Replaced my Kleemann shortie headers with SwainTech coated MBH long tubes, as well as cleaning up some poor quality exhaust work done by a hack who was later run out of town. Peter and the guys TIG'd everything so she's clean all the way back to the OE exhaust system.

She goes on the Dyno Monday to see if we need to update the tune or not.

Can't wait to get her back home!

Next up, suspension. Bilstein PSS9s, some sort of camber & toe adjustment system and 63 BS sway bars.

none... for now
Installing long tubes and not tuning it is pure insanity.

Kleeman shorty headers are certainly a good design(more like bad mid-lengths), but they are still one step up from factory manifolds. There are a few OEM's that even use great 4-2-1 manifolds now. Long tubes though are a whole different animal.

She's already got the Kleemann tune, so the system should be able to self-adjust after a few miles. We just want to see what she's making at the wheels, and to check things such as fuel/air ratios and torque curve. If it looks like we can squeeze a little more out of her we'll update the tune - but if things look pretty optimal we'll just let her sort things out on her own.

Not expecting big RWHP gains, but should see a significant improvement in torque - and while most people like to show big HP numbers, torque wins off the line every time.
