Hmmmmmm

I replaced the battery after it went belly up, then synchronized the windows, sun roof and steering....now when I try to adjust the left hand outside mirror, it doesn't work...both the left hand and right hand mirror selection buttons operate the right hand mirror, but not the left!
Also, pressing the panic button on the smart key flashes the lights, but the horn does not sound......WTF?
Does anyone have any suggestions or the solution?

It sounds like a blown fuse.

Thanks for the tip.
I removed all three fuses and checked them. They are good, so I reinstalled them and now the mirrors work as advertised. Guess I'll never know the cause, unless one or more had a bad connection.

Not much response as it is a strange problem. It could be a bad switch.

The mirrors and rear windows switch are a unit and it will disassemble. I used to repair the switches on my W124 as contacts would require cleaning.

Have you spilt any liquids on the switch?
