W209 front bumper assistance pls
Good day members
I don't know if you guys have experienced this issue but it seems that my front bumper has some gap below the fender on either side. This is toward the inner part where the head light makes contact. I have noticed that by applying force from the bottom of bumper upward, this gap disappears and the bumper becomes flush with the end of the fender. Am I missing a clip? Should my fender to bumper hold on clamps/clip/bracket be adjusted (bent closer) although this is more toward the front of the bracket so don't know if it will help.
It is slightly annoying hence I would like to sort it out if possible. I tried with a thick cable tie on the RHS of the car and it worked a bit but the small gap is still noticeable and looks unprofessional for a Merc vehicle.
Your assistance, guidance, tips and advice would all be highly appreciated.

There is a large metal clip holding the plastic from the bumper against the metal from the fender. It seems to sag over time. I couldn't adjust this gap out and the bodyshop said i would need a new bumper. Might have to put up with it.

Cindy. I don't think my W209 has that.
I don't recall seeing that on the inside of the bumper behind the lights. Anyone else have an idea or two?
I was thinking maybe one can take the old bracket and bend it closer? or maybe weld another section to the front that will be able to hold it up more at the front section to prevent this ''sag'' below the head light.
