CLK 63 AMG Coupe non BS anyone?
I'm interested in knowing how many forum members have the ordinary coupe CLK 63 W209. I know the US never got the coupe, only the BS and the cabriolet and most of the forum members seem to be from the US. I'm from SA and would like to know how many came to SA, we got the BS, coupe and cab but there are also not many of them. Where else did they get the ordinary coupe in the world?

Where are you from Tex5? I might be picking one up the weekend. Just a few questions, does the comand play dvd? Does all 6 disks play mp3 in the changer and do they all start with button on the shifter and keyless entry?

The 6CD charger plays MP3
Mine have keyless Go and yes the button on the shifter allows start and stop

none... for now
Truly baffling why the USA didn't get the coupe. Sure, the 05 CLK55 coupe sold dismally, but did AMG really advertise the minor-to-major improvements? Why didn't they at least give it a 2nd year chance.
Despite the largest AMG production number vehicle, the C63 is just as if not more expensive then a same year E63. But I don't want an E-class, nor do I want to pony up the $$$ for a C63 when I'm not a giant fan of the interior/exterior. I just happen to like the smooth, 4-eye Mercedes look. I'd rather a C55 over an 05 CLK55 for little reasons, but a CLK63 coupe would certainly take the... I'm sorry, a TR6060 manual CLK63 would take the cake

Hey member from S.A. Hoe gaan dit? There are a couple in South Africa. I would rather ask myself how many have the quad exhaust cause most I have seen have the exhaust on the left only and are cabriolets. I have seen maybe 4 or so coupe that have the quad system like my 55. There was actually a white one in my area some time ago for 300k our money.

Australia has a few and you can pick em up for a bargin
got mine for $30,000 and its i beleave its a joke for how much there going for!!
I dont think anyone knows about the CLK63 or how much of a car your getting for the price. Only car that comes close to that price braket is B7 RS4 but even they go for about $40,000 AUD for a **** one. Much slower too. Sold my TTRS for $50,000 AUD and the CLK is pretty much same speed

No I've got an slk 55 since then and now have another w204 63.
Goed goed en daar? With the late 04 model clk55's and up you get the facelift clk which is easily noticeable by the quad exhaust, the new bigger comand system, the new engine cover and also has a 3 slat instead of 4 slat grill if not mistaken about the grill. It also has the updates 6pot front and 4 pot rear callipers compared to the c 55 brakes that the early clk55's have. But all clk63's have the quad exhausts except for the cabriolet like you say.

Looking at the condition of your clk, I wouldn't touch it except for maintenance reasons because you have stunning car and like you say that car is rare and will be worh quite a bit in future if you keep it as standard as possible.
