Wheel offset 05 clk55
Hey guys,
I wanted some info before I buy some wheels for the car. I was looking at rohana rc7 19x8.5 et 25 and 19x9.5 et 33. Will I need spacers or have any fitment problems with the calipers?
Thanks
lewis

It all depends on the wheel and how the face is shaped.
Also depends which brake calipers you have. the smaller ones or the 6 POT calipers.
As an example... the BBS LM replicas are usually 19x9.5 +35
And because those wheels have a flat inner face, those won't even clear the smaller calipers. Spacers are required.

You are right, not a lot of correct info available on the correct offset. I was lucky enough to see Dicecedes post on his HRE's and he was gracious enough to share his custom offsets with me when I had my MRR FS01's built. Mine front rims are 19x8.5 et 26 with 235's and my rears are 19x9.5 with et 28's and 265's. I have no clearance issues with my brakes and the FS01's are super concave in the rear. I have about an inch clearance between the rim and brakes in the rear. You might have to run a 5mm spacer in the rear but I would think you should have the clearance without a spacer.
Here are pics of the rim to caliper clearance in the rear on my 2005.
