Yes. The resonator is just for sound deadening purposes

2001 CLK55 amg
Would love a little more rumble, but not really down for a cat-back system. Don't want it loud, just a little meaner.

By that train of thought, would it drone more in the interior?

2002 CLK55 AMG
Hey Rob. I have a 2002 CLK 55AMG that's otherwise stock and I literally had my resonate deleted (removed) a couple days ago. I notice no significant difference at low RPMs and a slight deeper more throaty grown at higher RPMs.

I'll want to do something else to the exhaust to make it a bit louder for my personal taste, but I assure you a resonator delete on this car won't make it annoying. You won't notice it over road noise
