W209 CLK CARBON FIBER MIRRORS
`
I had a set of Carbon Fiber mirrors installed today
I ordered them from
http://www.ebay.com/itm/171108571425?_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT
The guys at gaugetuner were extremely helpful and prompt
in answering all my questions
When the mirrors were ready to ship gaugetuner sent me
an E-mail with shipping information and a tracking number
that worked
Once shipped the package took 5 days to reach Bellevue Wa.
from Taipei Taiwan - The mirrors were packaged extremely well
and there was no damage what-so-ever
The place to purchase
The install was done by Ben and Jay at Eastside Auto Salon (EAS)
in Bellevue - Outstanding work - I highly recommend
EAS also installed the CF front lip and the CF grill and also
wrapped all interior wood in a matte CF wrap
They also did the tailights and removed the emblems
on the trunk
Everyone that knows Carbon Fiber said that these are extremely
high quality - These are the 6k Carbon Fiber
Thank-You
D.B.

Those look really nice... I will consider them, if I can install them myself...
The cf lip looks good and also looks like a good install.
What size are you rear tires? I'm lowered and wouldn't be able to do that, but it looks good.

Swapping the mirrors was easy
as Ben and Jay know what they are doing
They said that the disassembly of the mirrors
is is the hard part - just take your time
They wired the puddle lights into the doors
puddle lights
You do not need to remove the door panel
completely
If you have done any work at all on your car
you should have no problems
The CF lip I purchased from Gary at
https://mbworld.org/forums/clk55-amg...0-shipped.html
The rear tyres are 265 BFG
Thank-You

Looks really good.
The 4th picture down there appears to be a gap, do you have any closer pictures or can confirm there is a gap from the cf to the front of the mirror?
Thanks,
-Nigel
