Maximum tire width on W208 CLK?
I was wondering the maximum width tire I could fit my W208 CLK with (staggered), without any rubbing in the fenders.

265-35-18 easy (rears), depending on wheel offset and suspension setup. My ET25 rubbed slightly in rear but the Monoblock II did not.
I have used 235-40-18 in front and now use 225-40-18 Michelin Pilot SS.

I know this is old but still thought it might come in handy for those that are still wondering.
Wheels are AMG Monoblock Type 2 in 18" (Standard on W210 E55 AMG)
My wheels were factory-fitted from MB.
I upgraded my tire sizes from
Front: 225/40 to 235/40
Rear: 255/35 to 265/35
Tire Brand: Hankook Ventus V12 Evo2
I also installed 12mm spacers from H&R at the rear only.
As a preventative maintenance issue, I also replaced the front lower control arms.
And installed camber bolts for wheel alignment purposes.
All good, no rubbing on the fronts at full lock. Rides great and firm.
