FS: Custom 4-Point Bolt-In Roll Bar

I built this custom 4 point roll bar for a good friend of mine who owns a Black Series and now I need to send this roll bar off to a new home. He has decided to go a different route with the car and is going to need something a little different than what we had originally planned. The roll bar is tig welded and constructed with 1-3/4" .095 DOM tubing which is industry standard. I am looking to get $3,000 obo for the roll bar. The bar is still bare metal and can be powdercoated any color the buyer chooses at no extra cost. Any question please feel free to ask

4130 billet tube clamps

sanded and cleaned ready for welding

base plates are now welded on

Cheers
Ryan

Thank you. This would be ideal for anyone that wants to track their car. Not to mention when you see it in the car and see the x brace in the back and both diagonals and harness bar in the car with seats it looks wicked. The angle of the main hoop matches the angle of the side windows as well so when the windows are up it's all symmetrical.

I have a BS and am considering a Chrome Mol 4 point. What is the weight of this set up you have for sale?

When I built this we had considered doing chromo but I honestly don't think it is even remotely worth nor do I know any cage builder that thinks it is. I think there are more disadvantages that advantages when it comes to chromo. Chromo cost nearly double if not more than that per foot in comparison to DOM tubing. If it's not welded perfectly it becomes very brittle and is more prone to cracking. Also chromo in general work hardens and becomes more brittle over time from use. Will it ever work harden enough to become dangerous in a car prob not but a lot places are banning chromo. I know SCCA has banned it and I am sure there will be more to ban it in the future as well. I honestly wouldn't do chromo and like I had mentioned dont know anyone that recommends chromo over DOM.

Anyways I will see if I can get a weight on this some how for you.
