I have a black one which was featured in this months' mercedest euthusiast magazine. $175,000 and it is yours.

I am currently in the market as well. Anyone know the true selling price of clean cars with 10K, 20K and 30K miles on them?

Most people are asking between $75K to $85K but I see a lot of these cars just sitting in the for sale section of the various websites and aren't changing hands...

Is 60-70K a fair estimate of actual selling prices?

I'm thinking maybe 67-68k but south of that will be impossible to find.

You are not going to find a clean unmolested car in that price range. You are more likely to find a desirable car in the 75k to 79k Range. Having said that, I highly doubt you will find a 1 Owner clean white BS for sale all that often. I have a White BS and I know that I wont part with mine aqnytime soon. I wish you luck in your search. Make sure you have the car checked thoroughly before purcahse. The less owners the better, and the good ones will have all service records with the car.

"Less owners the better" - well, you have to remember that these cars are toys for most people. You'll find quite a few cars with multiple owners. People who can spend $100K-$135K on a fun car don't always keep them around for more than 2 years. Remember these cars are coming up on 5 years old. My point is... multiple owner cars don't necessarily mean a problem given the buying audience for this particular car.

I like the fact that we've got a floor around $75K+ for a typical car.

I haven't heard of any clean, one owner, no accident, and low mileage blacks selling for under 70. The white cars seem to carry a slight premium as well.

If you can wait until the end of the year, when the waranty runs out on these cars, you can get them for even cheaper prices.

Another idea is to get one with some warranty left and add on a 6-7 year Easycare warranty. They are great and for a few thousand $ you can elevate the resale value of your car by a good $5K+

BTW That's 6-7 years since inception. So a 2008 car with factory 4 year warranty will be covered for a total of 10-11 years... 2018 or 2019!!

I did that on my 911 and was very happy with the peace of mind as well as easycare's service

I agree and disagree with your point. I agree that most people who can afford such a car dont tend to keep them for long, which can also mean they could care less about proper upkeep. If its just a temporary toy then it is less likely for the car ( for lack of a better word ) to have been pampered. It is more likely that it has been driven hard and put away wet. On the other hand if its a car that has had one owner for the duration of its life, that it has had the proper break in and has had the proper service done at the correct intervals. Someone who keeps cars for longer periods tends to take care of them better. Of course this is just my opinion. Having said all that, I am sure that there is always the exception to the rule.
