Whats the best used year to buy?

Well a 2006 CLS would be a CLS500, with the old 5.0 liter V8. As far as i know, the 5.0 liter has been the more reliable engine. My CLS500 has 110,000 miles on the clock. I really havent had any problems with the car aside from the alternator going bad about 20k miles ago. I'm assuming the newer C219 (I guess you posted this in the wrong section as the C219 was built from 06 to 10) are equally if not more reliable.
