Window squeak

When I close my door or put the window up and it seals, it makes an awful squeaking sound. Does anyone else have this issue? I had it at the dealer for them to look at and they were unable to resolve the issue. They said it might be the tint. Any tips would be appreciated because the sound is incredibly annoying. I just might start climbing through the window to avoid hearing the noise...

My squeaks a little but not enough to warrant me bringing it in. I, too, have tinting.

I guess it ensures a proper seal. =)

how about spraying some silicone lubricant in the gasket? that should stop it for months if not a year.

Do so carefully and do not spray too much or it will drip.

Had the same problem on my E550 and now on my CLS. Pretty sure it's the tint. I applied Shin-Eitsu grease on window seal and it got rid of squeaks. Give it a try.

I have also noticed that the tint on the front windows is getting scratched. This also happened in my 2006. Anyone else have that issue?

Couldn't find the Shin-Eitsu grease. Tried an all-purpose grease instead. It seems to be working, just gets a little messy. I want to see how it is after a few days.
