#4
Thanks. Im almost about to buy 2014 CLS 350 (Germany import) from Myanmar Authorized Dealer. I cant check VIN at U.S Mercedes recall check box as they show invalid vin or sometimes show, cant find in their database. May be the one I want to buy is German imported. So please help me how can I know this model need recall or not. I cant see recall check at MB Germany site.

2013- 2015 Recall

FYI!
I took my car to the dealership yesterday because I had a slow leak in my RR tire. I got my tire replaced due to the "road hazard clause" on my premium Tire warranty (I always get them driving in Washington DC with our notorious pot holes...haha!). In addition, we were also having an upcoming snow/sleet storm in the DMV and I wanted to get it taken care of ASAP. Upon registering my car at the local dealer with my VIN number, there was a computer alert stating that I need to have my hood seal replaced. I inquired about the recall and how consumers will receive communication. I was informed that consumers will receive notices in the mail beginning the middle of March. I just happened to get my replaced while attending to my tire. It was quick and efficient and also go my car washed.
I value the information that is disseminated on the forum to assist other and keep my abreast with new I need to know about my car. Thanks MBWorld.

Thanks so much for the information. I typically come to only a few forums periodically and have not taken the time to go on all of the forums sites. There is such a wealth of information. I appreciates the efforts of many of the forum members and care enthusiast. I always learn a lot.
