Finally did a road trip this Labor Day weekend LA to Vegas with my CLS 400. We avg 25 mpg, four people and luggage running 55 mph on avg. with AC. I have 3700 miles on the car and average 17.5 mpg mostly city driving. The car isn't getting the EPA advertised number and is off by +10%. I'm still happy to own a 4200lb car, able to easily hold a 100+ mph, that can gets 25 mpg. But I though it would be a lot closer to the 20/30 mph on the sticker. Yet when I look at the car any negative's are out weight by how gorgeous it is.imho It is the best looking car made by Mercedes.
