Help with CLS hood emblem removel
hey new posting here but long time reader, I need help removing the emblem from the front of my Mercedes cls 550 its not in the hood but on the bonette. I have not tried to remove it yet for fear of breaking it. anyway I hope its just a twist off but looking for anyone who has done this. I am in the process of replacing all my emblems to barbus after a tune job. Thanks guys

I'm not sure if this will work on that emblem but usually you can put fishing line behind and work it slowly towards you. This may not work on the star in the back as those are often held on with three prongs, however, the emblem may only be glued on.

not sure if its still the same onthe CLS but on my 2010 E calss it was held with 2 prongs that were coming fron the emblem into the grill part that had rubber fittings , and to remove the emblem u would have to push it out from the back.
