I just purchased a 2009 CLS550.
The Command owners manual refers to an AUX input in the glove compartment that does not match what I have in my car.
The manual refers to two different cables...one with three inputs for Aux in, Ipod in and USB memory in. It also refers to a video input cable that has three RCA plugs for left / right audio and video. The manual also refers to a 1/8" aux input and shows a picture of it on the right side of the glove compartment.
WHAT I ACTUUALLY HAVE in the glove compartment is a long wide input (similar to an ipod plug) that I think is called a "cinch" plug. There is a cable with only two inputs...one ipod and one 1/8" input.
QUESTIONS:
1. My dealer has other cables instock, but has not been able to explain the difference between the Command manual and the car. Any one out there
with a 2009 CLS? What do you have and do you know what it can do?
2. Does the 1/8" aux input on the cable I do have support audio AND VIDEO input?
