I'm working on an 06 cls500 to cls55 looks now.
From AMG oem body kit to AMG 8/4 brake kits etc...
At the end, my budget would be around $25k to $27k including the car.
Too late now otherwise, I'd jump on this.
I'm trying to get my wife to give up her 07 s550 4matic for this IWC.
She says that she can always drive my AMG clone :-)
Someone should jump on this.

I agree with Tasho and Ned, someone should jump on this! I'm biased though since I am the one who is unfortunately having to get rid of it. Thanks for posting this here, I should have thought of that ;-)

This is probably the car from Vegas, Xeno... that's where we got it in April of 2012. We purchased it to replace her 2006 S600 which was killing us on maintenance cost, we wanted something more "practical" but this thing is just too nice and makes my wife nervous to drive anywhere for fear of getting door dings, rock chips, traffic tickets, etc.

It's basically just a garage queen at this point waiting to be rescued!

Tasho, sorry for the late reply... didn't see these posts until now. You are right, that deal is on hold for now, he had issues with financing since he'd recently purchased a couple of other cars.

I can not believe this is still not sold. The car is immaculate and priced very very competitive. I came across another one few weeks ago with 45k miles and they were asking $43k.

Interesting, maybe they still had the watch with that one? Right now our main thing is to just get out of the car and be able to pay what we owe the bank but a bidding war would be good too ;-)

I see you work at Exotic Motors, I can say that I've been to your website many times over the last few years just drooling over cars. You guys always have awesome photos out there. There was an S550 Designo that you had around the time we got the CLS that I was considering.

I work there part time as I am still a full time architecture student. And I do not call it work, it's just good fun meeting a lot of car people and getting to drive some very nice cars. I was a customer before I started working there. Between me and my family we have bought 9 cars from there the past 2 years.

Hello all. Just wanted to 'bump' this post and let everyone know the car is still available. I'm getting a little less patient to keep paying for the car while not driving it. We've dropped the price to $31,900. If I can't sell it soon we'll probably just end up trading it in and taking that hit just to get out it and start paying for something we can actually drive, still has around 35,500 miles on it.

A local dealership had one with 45k miles and asking $39,900. I doubt it's as clean as yours.

Thanks for that link, it at leaves gives me confidence that I'm not crazy with what I'm asking for the car and some ammunition for these folks who come in with the $20k offers. I'm taking off work next week with a goal to get rid of this thing so at this point it looks like we'll be trading it in and taking whatever hit that is since there aren't any deals in the works right now.
