Hey guys,

I have a CLS320 in black, love it.

The bad news is I have a problem, I've searched the internet but cant find a solution.
I noticed that both remote key and spare key would only unlock the car if held to/near the sensor on the drivers door handle.

I changed the battery in the fob and the same result and now sometimes the key will not unlock the car at all.... unless, I take the blade out of the key and use it in the boot/trunk look barrel, Which will set the alarm off.. then when held to the door it will unlock the car and turn off the alarm.

Quite the inconvenience.

Called my local MB dealer and they don't have a clue. Said they'd need to get it on diagnostics (£98 an hour) or else a new key (£238)

Don't under stand how it has happened to my main key and spare..
If anyone has had this problem before or know any solutions then let me know.
Any info would be a great help
