is it bad pushing your car to the limit?
How often do you guys push your car to the limit? And by the limit, I mean gunning it from one light to the next or just doing an overtake really fast.
I just got the car recently and of course everyone thinks the car is amazing and I have shown a couple of people how fast it can go from a stand still or a rolling start from like 10-20mph. I know the CLS550 is a tough car but I don't want to consciously be hurting the engine or transmission by doing that crap.
Also, I haven't really hit the pedal to the metal and my driving style is very conservative 99% of the time. There is no space in this town to speed and if I do speed, I am surrounded by idiots who are unpredictable.
Finally, I did notice a throttle lag when pushing it today. Im guessing the ECU is used to me driving like an old lady, right?
