Any decent daytime running lights for a 2006 non bixenon that are white? not yellow..
I recently upgraded my cls500 2006 to all phillips diamond vision halogens for headlights high beams and foglights... they look great my only complaint is these bright yellow daytime running lights... I purchased some led driving lights by sylvania194 and while they do light up they flash for a while and then settle at a dim tone and give an error code. So I am assuming led's in this cars daytime running light slots don't play nice... or is there a specific brand or style that works? If not is there a halogen variant that would suit my needs it would be awesome if phillips made the diamond series in the 194 size but for some odd reason they don't. Thanks in advance.

You need canbus LEDs, not standard LEDs. We have plug and play canbus 194 wedge LEDs in 5000k pure white that'll work for you.

We have two options for your fogs, best option is an HID conversion kit which we carry top end plug and play Morimoto kits. Alternatively, we have plasma LEDs for your fogs, but will need to tap in load resistors (included).

Oh ok but nothing plug and play like the day time running lights. If I was gonna do a conversion I'd proabably start with the headlights is it much work involved?

Was revisiting this idea since the wedge lights were such a success.. if I go the plasma led route would i have to tap into power from the car battery? And is that not the case with the hid upgrade? Also a little confused with how it's labeled on the site but does each hid kit come with two (one fore each side of the car)? Lastly would plasma led be able to provide sufficient lighting for high and low beam as well i've heard many reviews saying aftermarket led installation can be as dim as halogen.

LEDs are not recommended for forward projecting main illumination lights in housing not designed specifically to capture LED type light spread. You'd basically end up with reduced throw distance and light scatter. They're fine for fogs where you're not relying on for visibility, but for low and high beams, you want HIDs. They might be on for high beams though if you live and only drive in the city where you only use your high beams to flash people as opposed to light up the road though.
