Just bought 2007 CLS63...

A little more traffic here so I figured some of you might like to see...

Well, I just did a test drive today and left with the car. I got $3400 off sticker, so I think I did good. Anyway, I absolutely love it. It's taking some getting used to coming from an E55 and Z06; but man, I tell you what, it feels sluggish from 1-2500rpm's, then all the sudden it feels like a freaking turbo just kicked in. Definately would not hang with E55/CLS55 from dig, but from a roll, look out, cause it ROLLS! LOL, man I sound like I'm 12 I'm so excited.

Anyway, it's Alabaster White with Ash Interior. It has the P2 package and Electric trunk closer. Here are a few pictures...

PS- I will be putting it on a dyno here in the next few weeks. I'll post that up for you all.

The CLS63 is stunning. There was a black/black CLS63 on the showroom when I went to speak to my dealer about the HP issue. I was drooling.

Very nice indeed. What happened to your white E55? I wish they would have put the CLS (or something similar) steering wheel in the E55. E55 steering wheel is scrawny & cheap looking.

They put it on the E63. Neal is finishing up the rest of the E55 owners, so everyone is SET!!

im just guessing but id say you got a good deal. 1 its a AMG they dont take off much for them 2. its a new style (6.3) usally they mark up stuff like that. i like the color combo but sorry i dont like the cls body style. oh well injoy.

OK rocket i liked it better when the boobs were animated please fix that, otherwise beauty car and color \; I am struck by the analog clock in your cluster..... luv it contrasted w my digital piece. Enjoy!

I wasn't going to say anything, especially since his is in a different State, but the price is basically straight retail. The days of adding premiums to any MBs is over. They have changed their strategy and have chosen to flood the market with new styles. Basically they want volume over a few gouges.

I say stick with what you got. They kill you on trade.

E55/63 is better looking than CLS, imho. But if you want a change you want a change...

Mhaynes- That is not to say your new car is not very impressive. Congrats.

Yeah, I was really wondering why the CLS63's aren't coming the the new wheels? O well.

Also, no I didn't trade the E55. I sold it back in May before the E63's were being released to get my Z06. Picked the Z06 up on July 19, 2006 and sold it today to go back to Mercedes AMG. Gotta love it.

PS- Now, I LOVED the Z06, but I just needed more room and something fast. I think I did okay.

You need to put the tranny in "Sport" mode not "Comfort" (forget what the break-in procedure says).

Umm...trust me, it stays in S or M...lol, break it involves me leaving the lot sideways...lol, well not that extreme.

Oh, for some reason when you start the car, it stars off in C mode by default. I change it before I drive though.
