Here comes fark?

Hey guys, I don't even own a car, I'm from www.fark.com. Yep, we've caught on to this story. For those who don't know fark, fark is one of the largest internet link sites (with forums), with over 150,000 registered forum users and who knows HOW many link browsers (my guess would be around a quarter of a mill to a third of a mill). Anyway, we've coined the term "farked" to mean absolutely demolishing a smaller sites' bandwidth, and if the link makes the main link page of fark (I'm on the pay page, and luckily I doubt it will make the main, free page), this thread will grow MUCH larger than it already is. Anyway, gday to you all.

RE: Help

Hey sorry to see that horrific mess. I would try to use mineral spirits (non toxic) to get the paint off of the leather and rubber dash material. As for the cloth I would call a carpet or upholstery specialist and ask for their advice. I would then get it detailed at MB. Gook Luck with your car.

Mineral spirits for the cloth. (DON"T put it on any plastic)

Try Mothers' Aluminum polish for the leather.

If that fails, call your insurance company.

good luck!

Angry DAMN!

For the dash and steering column, some orange (citris) cleaner should do the trick well.

Not only has this site been farked... I am here to tell you it has made made it to Fazed also at http://www.fazed.org/

For those that don't know. Fazed is another link site like fark.com that helps to keep us bored at work from falling asleep.

Well, since I'm Short-Media's (tech site) resident Benz nut, someone over there brought it to my attention.

All I can say is that I'm sorry you had to go through this 20FHK02...

especially in a Mercedes. Why couldn't it have happened to something worthless... like a riced out Civic or something? :p

Just wanted to say you've become famous at Generation Vibe: A forum for enthusiasts and owners of the Pontiac Vibe and Toyota Matrix.

http://forums.genvibe.com/zerothread?id=7377

Sorry for the disaster man...I had an oil stain on my seat and thought THAT sucked!

Glad you got it all straightened out.

Pennock's Fiero Forums

Your known on Pennock's Pontiac Fiero Forums now, the best domestic mid-engine sports car ever

www.fiero.nl/forum

You all should try out the goodness of what can be done to Pontiac Fiero's, including 20 different GM engine swaps, tranny swaps, interior modding, suspension, etc. Nice cars when they're fixed. Only short lived because of the dumbass bigwigs at GM 1984-1988, Cut short because of the creator putting a corvette v8 into it, and slowing sales. Good ole gm didn't want anything beating its vette.

interior color question

I just have one question for 20FHK02:

Why does your car's interior appear a tan color in the front, but grey in the back in your initial pictures? I would assume that the lighting is playing tricks on your camera, but I am curious ...

I hope that your repair and leather upgrade proceeds smoothly and with a minimum of hassles.
