How Mnay Wax Layers

I usually put on a layer of sealant and 2 weeks later add a single layer of carnuba wax on top. I wonder if more carnuba applications would add to the shine and overall protection or will it look dull after x number of was layers?

Any thoughts?

At some point it will start to look "dull."

For that extra "pop" and extra protection go with a glaze.

Any particular brand of glaze you might recommend?

Carnuaba is like a double edged sword, on one side or offers superior shine and duration.
While on the other side it is the most difficult to remove.
You are more likely to damage your paint while removing the wax.
And wax will dull and you will have to remove it.
IMO your best bet is an acrylic paint conditioner.
It never dulls and never has to be removed.

New Carnuba waxes are rather easy to remove, you just have to apply a very thin coat. In my earlier days of detailing I used to put on a very thick layer and wait for 30 minutes before removing which was quite a work out on my upper body. Now I use the thinnest layer and remove after 5 minutes easily.
