I've used both but only in a late model application. Honestly I think Beru is the better choice for my W211 06' but your results could be very different. I have Bosch in my old 190D 2.5NA 5 speed and they work fine. Sort of like spark plugs, there really isn't a magic answer, as long as the motor starts and settles quickly into a smooth idle, they have done their job, lit the fire so to speak.
