om642 and gtb2260vklr any problems?
Hi I want to install a gtb2260vklr turbo on my '11 w164 Blueeff. I know some people who installed the turbo on grandcherokee but has anyone installed it on mercedes? Will I get any error codes or any other issues. I talked to a guy who works at the mb dealers and he said that one time he installed a turbo from the latest mb models to a previous model and 5-6 fuses blew out... But then again I don't really trust the guys who work at the dealers, because they are morons.
Any help would be much appreciated.

As long as VNT controller pin out is the same and there is no dramatic difference in amperage requirement I cannot see it electrically or electronically being a huge issue.

the turbo is from '12 w212 I'll go ahead and install it and see what happens...
