Oil Filter Wrench OM651?

Anyone know of an oil filter wrench for the OM651 engine? I have a GLK 250 Bluetec and would like to change the oil.

I bought mine from the dealership for $20, I figured i'd go there and get one since its a good quality tool. Walmart had one fore like $7 but the quality was awful, almost like sheet metal.

worth a shot if you like quality tools!

You need a 74mm wrench:

Double check it.
I order the cap wrench from ECS and they send me 74 mm wrench specifically for Bluetec.
The wrench is too small as 3l Bluetec takes 84 mm.
Good thing the filter has good access and I moved it with band wrench.

The 3L BlueTEC OM642 takes an 84mm wrench.

This thread is for the OM651, which is a 74mm wrench.

Are you saying you don't recommend double checking?
Professional suppliers made mistake and who are you?
You would not live in Tampa-Orlando area by a chance?

No idea what any of that is about...kajtek1 your experience with ECS is not applicable here as you have an OM642.

I have checked and I am correct- 74mm wrench for the OM651.

Nothing personal cdetdi, but with Plutoe clowning around for a moment you did sound like his partner.
This is diesel section, not 651 section and never hurts to advise other members that different diesels do have different oil filter sizes and double checking is highly advised.
And again, since commercial suppliers don't know that, make it double - double checking.

Nothing personal rajtek1 but this thread is titled Oil Filter Wrench OM651, not "Diesel Filter Wrench".

I suggest you take your own advice and double check where you are posting before posting inaccurate information that will only confuse people. It DOES hurt that you posted incorrect information. You told me that I was incorrect and I needed to double check, but clearly you couldn't be bothered to double check your own information.

Please edit your post above to remove the inaccurate information.
