Om617 no fuel at injector pipes
I recently did a full rebuild on my om617 turbo diesel and I am trying to start it with on the ground before putting it back in the vehicle. I have bled the fuel injection pump with the hand pump until I heard a squeaking sound which I am led to believe to be the pressure relief valve opening. When this happens, I also get a good stream from the return line with no bubbles. When I crank the engine, no fuel whatsoever comes from the delivery valves, zero. I thought maybe the lift pump was bad, so I hooked up an electric pump to bypass it and still no change. I figured that the injection pump was bad, even though it is rare, so I got another pump and I am still getting the same result. I feel like I am missing a step somewhere in my process. I can't seem to find any other threads with my exact issue, so I am at a loss here. I am an experienced mechanic but I don't fully understand everything about these pumps

Out Of Control!!
Assuming the pump timing is correct, what happens when you attach the high pressure lines to the injectors---does fuel come from the injectors??

No fuel comes out with hard lines attached, checked if they were clogged and I can blow air through them. I took out a couple of the delivery valves earlier, they had a little bit of fuel inside them and the first valve seeped a little fuel when I pumped the primer. I checked the last valve and it was not flowing. I even cranked the engine with them out and still nothing. Not too sure what else I can check from here
