ML 270cdi do you need to bleed fuel lines

Having replaced the fuel line from rail to fuel pump and having to remove each injector fuel line to re fit ...

1. Do you need to bleed air from lines or does it clear air on start up ?

2. if Yes ...how is best ?

I have read you can do damage to high pressure fuel pump on some models if you crank engine with air locks ...

Cheers

Not necessary, the air will be pushed out and slowly replaced by fuel------just keep cranking!!
