thought I'd post here since the E Coupe forum is so slow. 19x8 and 19x9, ordered from alloywheelsdirect.net in the UK (great service BTW).

I put 255 width front and 275 width rear tires....Goodyear F1 Asymmetric. I wanted a good compromise between ride comfort and performance since these were upsizing from the stock 18's. I didn't want to upset the sweet spot MB hit with ride/handling on this car. I think they do the job nicely....they cure the main deficiency this car had in stock form and that was the lack of rear grip from the 255 width Pirelli all-seasons.

Nice rims. Goodyear F1 yr end no issue of side wall crack?

no issues that I'm aware of. The old GS-D3 that came on some VW's had issues with sidewalls bubbling but these aren't those.

Hello guys,

I would like to ask you if I can put the 5 spokes rims of the CLS w218 on my E550 coupe.

Here are the references :
Front B66031484. 255 / 40 R18 8,5 J x 18 ET 34,5
Rear B66031485 .285 / 35 R18 9,5 J x 18 ET 48

I would like to know if theses wheels can fit without any problem into the C207.
And also, what size tyres can I use ?

Nice wheels. Fills out the wheel well nice. Do you notice any difference in ride quality?

Hi PGT, I just bought the same 19' amg wheels as you did : 8' front and 9' back.
my car is all stock : I would like to know if going 245-35-19 and 275-30-19 require spacers ?
