255/30-19 as an incorrect front tire size for W207. The correct front tire size is 245/35-19.

3mb, thanks for reminding me to check b4 I post, typo
The tyres on my 19" wheels are:

Front 235/35
Rear 255/30
So 30 profile is correct!
I am using Good Year eagle f1 asymetric -German made edition 2010.
W207 does not exist, it is a coupe so is C207.
Happy days!

can you run a 35 in the front and 30 in the rear on 20"s. i understand the "true" tire size is 30 and 25 on 20"s but i like a little more meat on my tires (too many potholes in LA and have already bent enough wheels in my lifetime). will the bigger diameter clear the strut? thanks.

207 Cab Wheels

I run 245/35/19 front and 275/30/19 rear on Breyton GTS-AV wheels with Michelin Pilot Sport 2 tires, and thought I would share some observations.

First, the 18" AMG wheel and stock Michelin tires were a great combination for most buyers who liked a comfortable and quiet ride. But I wanted a bit more out of my car. I was concerned about going to 20", since Tire Rack did not recommend it, and I have the Sport suspension setting if I really want to stiffen things up further.

When I'm in Eco, I found that the setup I used offers a ride and handling package that sits between the original setup's eco and sport setting. When in sport, it's firmer and handles considerably better than stock sport. I'm not sure I would want it much stiffer, and sometimes actually miss the stock ride just a little. However, the tradeoff is well worth it. Plus it looks much better.

I got the entire setup delivered with tire sensors for around $2,500 from Tire Rack. All I had to do was bolt them on and reset the pressure monitor. Totally happy with the car, btw. Incidentally, the the Madrus Mannheim wheel is pretty cool for those wanting more of a classic MB look, and costs about the same at Discount Tire Direct. You can get 20", as well.

Did not realize you're in HK.

In US, E coupe is W207 and the tire sizes you use would be incorrect/undersized for US cars - not enought load carrying capacity.

what are the widths and offsets on those 20" wheels that you had to roll your fenders with 245/30. outer fenders weren't my concern until now, but more of the inner strut perch. trying to figure out what's wheels can fit and which ones need a little bit of modding too. thanks.

don't know about the W, i thought that was for Wagon and C was for 2 door/coupe??
if u are right the sub forum title has to be changed.
3 MB are u driving a W212 or Coupe? any photos man?

3 MB - i am referring to 19inch wheels and not 20.
Good Year Asymetric F1 2353519-GE-91Y-XL and 2553019YR with corresponding
Euro/USA laser wheel/chassis alignment code 485 with
front right toe changed to 0.04, front total toe from 0.21 to 0.11, no rubbing issues.
what is the weight load max in the USA? interested to know as it is only a 4 seater and the max load weight
is embossed on the tyre.......

Brabus has the answers based on the size and width of the wheel, (Vertini,Breyton and others may differ to Brabus)

won't argue with those guys, they are the best aftermarket people.

The Worldwide Internal Designation for the sedan is W212, C207 for the coupe and A207 for the droptop. Each of them have a 1 or 2 digit code following the model to tell you which country or market they serve. So, for example, C207.xx where the "xx" is the variable. That says it's a coupe sold in whatever part of the world.

isnt offset dependent on the wheel you get? i just got a set of20" tsw and the offsets are 43, 54. i havent had a chance to mount tires on them yet. i purchased 245/30 and 285/25pirellis. the tire shop says that anything wider or taller in the front will rub the front strut. i would love to try 295/25, since it they have never tried it before but will start with the 285s. anyways, i will post some pics when i have them installed, along with eibach springs.

Your offset is perfect, but i do not advise to install 295 in the rear. For 285/25 you should have the width of the wheel 10*20.POST PICTURES.

chose not to trust you and it worked out. fitted 235/35/20 up front and 275/30/20 in the rear. offset is key, no modding necessary.

You chose to run with 235 in the front and 275 in the rear but i told you my set up is with 255 in the front and 285 in the rear.It is a big difference and i have to tell that i have lowered my car by 30mm.Take a minute to think about it.IF SOMEONE ELSE WILL LOWER HIS CAR DO TRUST ME FOR MY SET UP.

i do appreciate your first responses, but my very first question i asked was if i would be able to run 35's up front and 30's in the rear. your curt response was "NO, they will not work." then you followed up with the "trust me, they wont work." yes your set up might not accommodate the taller tires, but that wasn't what i asked. maybe if i asked if i can fit a 255/35/20 and 285/30/20 your answers might have been appropriate. just to let you know too, i can lower my car with this set up and still not have to roll my fenders or bang any strut perches out of the way.

didn't realise you could fit 20's with out any fender rolling, what offset are you running? I was going by what my dealership have told me and the Brabus fitment list which states for the most part anything bigger than 18s require modifications for fitment.. I've not needed to make any modifications to fit 19s, may change for 20s next year and lower it so wondered if you could share what offet you're running with.

You got some pics as well?
