looking to upgrade to E550 Convertible

Hey guys, Last year I traded in my beloved 2009 CLK coupe for a 2011 E class 4 door. The E is a great car but I just don't feel like it is for me..more of a family/luxury feel..looking to get into something more sporty, more age appropriate (i'm 22). My question is when is generally the best time of year purchase an E convertible, I obviously want to negotiate a fair amount of MSRP, but am afraid that if I wait till the end of the model year there will be little to no inventory left as the 550 convertible is a low production model. If you guys have any experience about what time of year dealers are more flexible with discounts on this model I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you.

I ended up about $1100 under invoice after the dearler discount and two grand off for the loyalty program.

I ordered a '12 in October and got $4500 discount + .75% off rate.
