Ideal OFFSET for 20"
#52
Hey guys, has anyone seen these wheels?
http://wpfla.com/wheels/verde/images/v39_parallax_b.jpg
It has a pretty deep concave. As you can see, they only offer them in 20x9 ET 32 and 20x10 ET42. The rear seems like a great fit but im not too sure bout the front size
Front (stock diameter is 25.4" - try to stay within 1"):
245/35-20 (26.7"-26.8") will definetely NOT fit (do not even try it).
235/35-20 (26.4"-26.5") is the highest sidewall tire you can use on E coupe. I have no issues with et30. You should be OK with et32, but test fit first if you can. Other options are: 225/35-20 - 26.2" (but maybe too narrow) and 255/30-20 - 26" (but maybe just a bit too wide). (245/30-20 is only 25.8" and offers almost no protection to wheels). Again, IMO 235/35-20 is the way to go.
Rear (stock diameter is 25.2" - try to stay within 1"):
285/30-20 (26.7"-26.8") will definetely NOT fit.
275/30-20 (26.5") does fit E sedans, but E coupes have less room, so it may or may not fit. But I would not go more than 1" over stock diameter, hence I chose 265/30-20 (26.3").
Note: all above is based on stock height only. If you plan to lower, you may not be able to use 235-35/265-30 combo, you would need to be closer to stock - 245-30/275-25 instead.
Also to offer more wheel protection, I use 40lbs front anf 44lbs rear tire pressure. The most important - it is very difficul to find a quality tire with both 235/35 and 265/30 sizes. IMO pair mixing is OK as long as the rear pair is rated at least as good in wet conditions as the front.[/QUOTE]

Hey guys, I've read all the posts about this topic. Great information. I am going to get me some Brabus Monoblock S in 8.5 x 19" et 40 front (245/35R19) and 10 x 19" et45 rear (285/30R19) for my E coupe. From the information from this topic, I can say it will be perfect fit for the car, right? Can anybody confirm?
Thanks.
Thanks.

Hi guys,
I found nice 20's replica wheels from Italy.
Here is the link: http://www.wspitaly.com/ I think I'd go with w759 vesuvio.
But the problem is specs:
8,5*20 et30
8,5*20 et43
9,5*20 et30
9,5*20 et43
Give advice please what I need to choose. Am I correct that 8,5*20 et30 is ok for the front with 235*35?
But what do I need to do with the rear?
Buy the way could plz smb tell what ET factory 18' wheels have? I have amg package
THX

Front is a bit too wide (9") for such a low offset. IMHO for 9" wheel, et36 is the absolute lowest offset I would go with on C207.
Rear is also a bit too wide (10.5") for such a low offset. Most importantly, I do not know of any 275/30 tire approved by its manufacturer for 10.5" wide wheel. Personally, 10" is the absolute widest I would go on C207, but if one still wants 10.5" - et48 would be the lowest (would it rub on the inside? I have no clue).

I would say no to both.

Besides, if you're only going to put 275, why go with a 10.5" rim? 9.5" is plenty wide enough.

my first post after reading this thread for 2 mths! I have got my c207 e350 and have yet to plunch on a shoes. from my readings, I suppose these fit?
Front alloy wheels: 19x8.5" ET34.5
Wheel part number: AMG B66031486
Additional alloy part number: A2184011602
Rear alloy wheels: 19x9.5" ET48
Wheel part number: AMG B66031487
Additional alloy part number: A2184011702
these are meant for the cls c218
or do I need do shove off the back of the front, and add spacers to the rear?
really like the wheels and want something different from the rest.
if it works, I will be back with the pics!

IMHO, the E coupe in silver (and white) with AMG sport package (only) is a stunning work of art. Perfect from every angle. Right wheels emphasise this car even more. These are one of those that do. Good job.

Nice "tuaker"...
I just think you should have gone with 245/40/19 in front, and 275/35/19 in the back to close the gap some more.
My wheels are coming and I will post photos with those sizes....

I've read through all your posts and concluded that your setup is dia 26.5 on ET30 in the front, mine is 26.7 on same offset... That is only 0.100" radial difference. If you have no issues I can't see why I would have any.

Why is that? The wheel is 19x8.5 ET30, isn't it far enough from the strut?

I did try 245/35-20, which is 26.8" (only .1" diameter taller than most 245/40-19 tires), and it did not fit. Keep in mind, I tried it on W212 which has a bit more room than C207 and after what I saw on E sedan did not even bother with E coupe. Now, one might be able to squeeze 245/40-19 on W212 E350, but IMO not on C207 350/550.
