I do not agree with this, assuming its for tuaker. While I do agree that rear should be visually brought out, there's not 100% "clean" way of doing so.

1. A.) 5mm should not be used for rear as there will be no hub lip left to center the wheel on and B.) if one still uses 5mm, in which case wheels will be supported by bolts only instead of a hub as should be, stock bolts can not be used - 5mm longer bolts are mandatory.

2. 10mm spacers is the only safe way to go if rear spacers are to be used, but then wheels with tires will extend a bit passed fenders.

I did try 245/35-20, which is 26.8" (only .1" diameter taller than most 245/40-19 tires), and it did not fit. Keep in mind, I tried it on W212 which has a bit more room than C207 and after what I saw on E sedan did not even bother with E coupe. Now, one might be able to squeeze 245/40-19 on W212 E350, but IMO not on C207 350/550.
So, I did some measurements.. and you're right. With the stock tire, there is 0.550" gap in between top of the tire and the spring plate. That means that 25.40" dia of stock +1.10" makes around 26.50 to 26.60 MAX diameter that would fit up front (depending on tire manufacturer this might vary a bit).
Needless to say, I've changed my order to smaller tire.

Hi guys I've been reading through posts and was wondering what fits and what rubs. I have w212 lowered on vogtland springs but it doesn't specify in inches how low the drop is. I just purchased 3pc vellanos and wondering what tire size should I go with. The wheels are 20x9 et35 and 20x10.5 et41.

Front: 255/30-20 and will be perfect.

Rears: will stick out no matter which one (285/25-20 or 295/25-20) is used.
IMO, rear offset is too aggressive for the width by a minimum of 8mm.

Thanks threembs for your help. I couldn't find any info about running these tire sizes on the w212 forum.

I thought these wheels are for an SL550?

And I think the part numbers you list are wrong?

Wheels look great, I must get some for my 2010 E550, now that I see they fit ......

QUOTE=tuaker;5604350]my first post after reading this thread for 2 mths! I have got my c207 e350 and have yet to plunch on a shoes. from my readings, I suppose these fit?

Front alloy wheels: 19x8.5" ET34.5
Wheel part number: AMG B66031486
Additional alloy part number: A2184011602

Rear alloy wheels: 19x9.5" ET48
Wheel part number: AMG B66031487
Additional alloy part number: A2184011702

these are meant for the cls c218

or do I need do shove off the back of the front, and add spacers to the rear?
really like the wheels and want something different from the rest.
if it works, I will be back with the pics![/QUOTE]

You guys should ask these questions in the right thread.https://mbworld.org/forums/e-class-c...up-thread.html
285/30 is too much.Maximum 275/30.

With proper offset(low to mid 40s for 9.5" wide wheel) 285 rears are perfectly fine for stock suspensions.

I got my AMG wheels!

i got my 19" AMG wheels!!

parts numbers are:

PART# A231 401 1602 front 19 X 8.5" OFFSET 35.5MM.
A231 401 1702 rear 19 X 9.5" OFFSET 48MM.

i want to make them black, powedercoat glossy black, (or perhaps plastidip?)

i plan on getting 255 35 R19 & 285 30 R19 tires since i have been told here they will fit my stock suspension on my 2010 E550.

anyone know for 100% positive these tires will fit before i lay out the cash for the tires? i dont want to waste my hard earned cash if they are too fat.

might be selling my 6 spoke stock wheels soon if anyone needs them

I went with 20x9 and 20x10 in rear. With Nitto Invo tires set up 285/25/20 & 245/30/20. SUPER flush looking. Some people thought I lowered it...but it stock height.

Hi, I'm not sure if you're still answering questions but I figured I'd try anyways. I have a 2010 C300 Sedan. I'm looking at 2 diff sets of rims, both 20x8.5 F and 1 set is 9.5 R and other is 10 R. What offset and tire size do you recommend for flush/lowered look? The company says the offset range these particular wheels come with is between 40-54. Any help would be appreciated, thanks...

I have a similar setup but 19's.

35 in the front will be ok as my 38 offset still has room. I have 45 offset on 10" rim in the rear. No problem at all stock but rubs if lowered. I have 285 tire in the rear but 275 would likely be better with a 42 offset
