Angry Can I retrofit CLS 2012 Steering wheel to my E550 Coupe 2010?

Hi there,
This is my first thread ever, and I hope I get the answer for my question here with you guys since I failed to find an answer elsewhere,

Well this is where I am now,
I just purchased a steering wheel a take off from a 2012 CLS 550 a beige one without the airbag with the intent and actually still trying to find the right airbag for it and I believe I did find it but cannot pull the trigger on it because NO BODY SEEMS TO KNOW WHETHER THIS STEERING WHEEL WILL FIT IN MY E550 Coupe 2010 CAR AS AN EASY PLUG AND PLAY OR IT IS GONNA BE A HASSLE?

If I am gonna be able to have this swap done easily as I am hoping, my steering wheel the E550 2010 will be for sale same day with the airbag :-)

P.S My steering wheel has paddle shifters like the new one but the new one supports lane departure warning but that can be just ignored, right?

PLEASE HELP ME
THANKS

I have the wood steering wheel and shift **** on my E350. I think it really compliments the rest of the wood on the dash and console. However, there are a lot of people that prefer the flat bottom sport wheels. I don't know if you've priced buying these wheels but, they're significantly more expensive when not part of an initial accessorie package.

it will fit, has been done.. I can't seem to source a decent priced wheel to do it but yeah it is a plug and play retro fit.

No to hijack the thread but I also have a steering wheel question. I have a 2012 E350 without the wood steering wheel. I love the feel of the leather wrapped steering wheel but just wished it was thicker like my E92 M3. Any suggestions?

Thank you Dr. Nab
You may laugh if I tell you I won this Airbag but then found out not a fit as there are 2 types of it mine has to have A172 as the first part of the part ID number.

Thanks

Awesome! been thinking about doing the same thing. Just afraid it might not fit right or programmed different from other cars.

I notice that the compartment/armrest between the drive and passenger seats on JoaoMerc's 350CDI looks different to mine (look at the C204 CCoupe 63 AMG BlackSeries).

I have a 2010 e550c and bought a used wheel and airbag off a 2012. Took it to the dealer to have them swap it out, they said the airbag plug is in a different spot so they can't connect the airbag. Anyone familiar with this or have suggestions?
