Poor Build Quality - 3 Weeks Old

So the rear spoiler on my brand new, 3 week old E550 Coupe fell off today. How is this even possible??????

I wouldn't say poor build quality more poor fitting by the factory or supplying dealership.. did you factory order the spoiler or did the dealer fit it? It's 3M VHB backed, but if they don't fit it correctly then it will come off..

It was fitted at the factory.To be fair, it has been very, very hot here lately and it looks like the glue just came right off.

If your in the states and odered the spoiler from the factory it was put on in the vpc or at the port

I live in Southern California and I saw an E-Coupe with dealer plates and a spoiler and the spoiler was flapping every time the car hit a bump.

So according to the dealer the part has been suspended pending further notice. They have offered to either completely remove to spoiler or just let me know when a new supplier has been found (potentially more than a month)

That's crazy, hope that your resolve this soon.

I installed mine myself, made sure I did it in the garage so no dust gets on the 3M, plus cleaned the surface with rubbing alcohol before I installed the spoiler.
