Car looks mean as hell!!! Now just polish the face of the spokes to match the rim. I am president of "Hate Blacked Out Wheels"!!! I'm also a member of the Infiniti G35 forum and the first mod every 18 year old kid who just bought a G35 with 200,000 miles. They Plastidip the wheels black!!! Don't like it much on G35's,,,,production ended in 2007. But on an MB Coupe...please just a little bling. There are people who spend thousands $$$ on their wheels and if they are Black nobody notices.

funny enough the spoke faces where an idea i have been playing with for a while but i need to do one to see if i like it. ill be doing it over the space of this week. look what happened to my wheels. i usually use a tyre shine on the plastidip to make it shiney after its been washed. i put a tyre foam on them this time which i dont usually use and left it for about 10mins while i was doing something else and look what happened.

Yuk that's gruesome!!! Good Luck...but polished spoke surfaces for the win!!! Of course that's only my opinion which is worth less than a can of Plastidip!

Definatly polished spokes. I know all black is popular but, every highschooler in my area is driving slammed Hondas with black wheels. The polished spokes really highlight the style of th wheel. The all black looks like a police car except they have silver hubcaps.

Yeah I think black wheels simply look like ones which are covered in years of brake dust. Though if the rim and center are polished like the early carrera wheels I find them far appealing

I think that's the spoiler I ordered last week! Is it carbon? Did you use the silicon glue of double sided tape?

Looks good!

thanks
i used double sided tape. i find its better because i always change my mind so its easier to get things off.

look where my old boot lip spoiler ended up.
fits perfectly! after the fox smashed the carbon lip i didnt bother taking it off to repair it. i ordered a new lip but when it came that was smashed to bits. so they sent me a replacement which i cant be bothered to fit yet. so i just masked up the one that was damaged on the car, repaired it with filler and sprayed it black. now its half carbon.
and iv got a full carbon lip ready in case the fox wants round 2!

nice work bro, the spoiler definitely finishes the rear end off!

I very nearly flattened a fox last night, dear me if I hit it and damaged the front and the fox survived it would definitely get a sonic boom to the other side of the road

Haha. Think my girlfriend is gunna get a sonic boom in a minute. Iv just washed it and she keeps going and getting things out of the boot. Then goes back to put em back in. Water streaks are driving me mad.
