Eisenmann Exhaust System (Video)

My Eisenmann tuning is the intermediate and rear muffler, here is the video for the sound, I edited the video but I didn't change any pits so the video plays pretty much it sounds in live.

Check it out~

P.S. I suggest using computer or if watching with mobile I recommend using ear phone, thanks~

Hard to decide

Gavro: Thanks, looking forward to your video clip too~

hoseclamp: lol, you are still young, go for the mod!

Caker: The exhaust arrived two months ago, I just didn't have the time to install it

here is the clost up look of the Eisenmann tailpipe

honestly the style and looks of this exhaust is very typical and almost same as the AMG quad tail pipe unless you do close look on the grave of the pipe to realize it is Eisenmann

I do consider changing my rear parts like the Prior Design PD550 series, but have asked the dealer that the rear bumper and the diffuser are in one piece, therefore I must change my tailpipe to quad square like C63 Black Series.

The problem is, if I decide to purchase Prior Design PD550 rear bumper, I am confused whether I should chop off the Eisenmann and change to the AMG Black Series tail pipe or I have to change the whole exhaust system and keep the Eisenmann whole set (intermediate and rear muffler) or sell it in the future?

We are all going insane because of the new kit from Prior. It is a difficult decision for you.I will make the change to 2013 model in a month or two and i will have to change the rear as well,if something new is not coming up i will be interested in your rear set up.Of course my Kicherer diffuser will be for sale.

E250 COUPE
kojan86 great style. I was wondering, your car has the dynamic hamdling package?(electronic dumping). If you have the dynamic handling what have you done to eliminate the error msgs in the car screen?I was told that the kw dont produce the dcc for e coupe. So is there a compatible kit for cars with dynamic handling?Sorry for asking the same question again and again but i am desperate to lower my car.it seems ugly with out lowering.

Sportlineman: Hi sorry for the late reply^^ No, I didn't choose the dynamic handling from facetory in the first place and the Mercedes dealer here didn't even have this option so I do not know there was an option of dynamic handing or electric dumping for W207. May be they have but I doubt it for the cabriolet. I only know that the original mercedes suspensions are different according to the size of the engine, and with same suspension with same criteria, cabriolet will look little bit lower than coupe for the rear part I assume because of the closing top.

Using dynamic for any E-class coupe or cabriolet I personally think it is unnecessary, and choosing the KW V3 is good enough because you can manually adjust the height and the softness depend on the condition and the environment. Usually need at least 2 weeks of adjusting and testing of the car after the KW installation to make your own perfect setting of the suspension, and if you really insist the electric dumping then you can try AirRex, I have a local friend who installed the AirRex suspension for his S204 (C-class wagon) you can make it high as the SUV or low enough for the front bumper to touch the ground, it can be adjust by another separate remote control. However what I do not suggest this suspension is you need to reconstruct your trunk to fit-in the motor for the suspension (it is adjusting by pumping the air) and it is fine for wagon or SUV because their trunk is big enough. For the coupe the trunk is already small (Cabriolet is smaller if you open the top very often) that you only can re-construct the spare tire area, but that just make the car even heavier and plus, the suspension is weaker than the normal suspension especially when you have large and heavy luggage or have more than 3 passengers.....

Just my opinion you can consider just lowing little bit down to make the car looks better, useful in many environment with comfortable cushions when driving....KW V3 is the best with reasonable price in the market so far as I know (I am not the KW dealer please don't misunderstand me ^^) or KW Clubsport is even better especially steering and controlling the turns unfortunately they don't make it for W207

If the Mercedes factory does have options of dynamic handling for the coupe then take it~

E250 COUPE
kojan86 Thnx for your reply. My car has already the dynamic handling. Dont be excited cos it only changes the dumping by pressing the sport button and makes thinks complicated when you want to lower your car. I contact kw and they direct me to my kw local dealer. Some of them claim that kw does not support the dynamic handling and some other claim that there is a different suspension offered by kw for models with dynamic handling....of course there is a third story says that the suspension offered is the same for all models with/without dynamic handling and for those models with dynamic handling you have to put another part that cheats the car in order not to display an error msg on the screen. By the way what is your setup wheels/tyres and drop?Sorry for all those questions and long messages.

My car has the dynamic handling, and after installing some KW's the car defaulted to Sport mode. No error messages on the screen, but now my gas mileage is terrible haha. When I find a solution I will let everyone know.

Nice bumper kojan, I wish you'd slow down a bit so the rest of us could keep up!

A dealer Claim that he can get me 4 adaptors one for each wheel that cheats the system. You mean you cannot swap to the eco mode anymore?

So adjusting the stance has tricked the car into thinking it's in permanent Sport mode and therefore made it more agile and holds the shift longer. Wonder if it would be the same scenario with springs? I love the idea but would make for a very thirsty car!

Loving everything you're doing Koji, keep on going, look forward to seeing the PD550 bumper on, think I might go for the PD550 front just seeing what PD will do on their price

Might have been my fault a little but think you've picked the ball up and ran clear of everyone - your 350 is incredible man, love it.

AMG illuminated door sills installation

Nab: I was just joking, don't think too much bro, lol....I really like your work on your beautiful cabriolet as well...also AZN's turbo coupe in HK...I really wish someday all of us can meet up and have a great chats and share about the tuning experience~~~

Not much updates, but I remembered I read one of the forums from MBworld.org mentioned that replacing the original aluminum door sill from mercedes-benz to AMG with illuminated sills like these:

Or any other manufactured company's name such as:
BRABUS

Carlsson

Lorinser

To be honest, any sills looks much better design as the AMG but I did not use them because the red cabriolet did not user any of their parts except few from the AMG, and I did though about custom made for my door sills but I could not come up with any good ideas.....well I did thought about just name it as "W207" or "A207" but then I have concept the looks via photoshop and decided not to because if I do so it doesn't even look cool and plus, it will always remind me of "Peugeot 207" every time I open the door or when I get off the car = =

Recently I found the AMG illuminated door sills with the new AMG logo, better contrast, and it is special made for W207 models. I bought it yesterday, arrived today, and installed it. Check out the photos:

This is the photo of my original aluminum door sill:

First need to remove the original and see how you want the wire goes, you need to decide whether you want the electricity come from the door, or from underneath the electric chair. This is totally up to the car owner because the voltage does not make big difference, if go for underneath the chair then we don't need a long wire, and I believe the installation time will be quicker and easier. BUT!!!!!! if you want the illuminated logo only light up when you open the door then I don't recommend you connect from underneath the chair because if you do so the logo will light up the whole time while your car is firing up. I chose the wiring from the door:

Here is my new illuminated door sill for the red cabriolet. As you can see, the AMG is the new fonts. In this product, the AMG logo was just a plain sheets with semi-transparent at the letter area, and at this point I realized if I want to change the logo un the future I could just change the sheets so can have different styles (may be~)

Here is how it looks after the installation. Quick warning for those chose keyless go systems like this red cabriolet, suggest to remove the cap and let the computer assume the electricity will not through unless you use the key to fire up, because when you install the sills, you need to keep the door open, and for keyless go system, the electricity will go through right after you open the door (recommendation from the Mercedes specialist)

Here is the angle from driver's POV when you try to get off the car.

Satisfied? At least I am .....lol ^^

I know its a real shame we can't all get together, think there's only me and dvalentinolocke over here with modded E's.

Love the sills Koji, just keeps getting better and better, I've never considered changing the sills to be honest I think the next thing I will do is the Smart Top Module for remote roof control, looked at the fitting diagrams and it seems pretty simple.

It's great to see you guy's so enthusiastic about moding the Coupe. I personnaly feel that even in stock form the E makes the Audi's and the BMW 5 series look dated and boxy. The Bimmer crowd rationalizes the lack of innovated design as Classy, Elegant, Timeless...all adjectives for boring! Go to it guy's Nab, Kojan86, Gavrocool your doing we coupe owners proud. If you keep this up I'm going to have to buy my wife a new Benz so I can play with my E (her car) which is black by the way...picked my nom de plume before I bought the car.
