I've had this problem on my E350 coupe. The panoramic would squeak and make cracking noise all the time, especially on bad roads.
There is no parts that need replacement, all you have to do is remove the interior fabrique from around the panoramic and there are around 8 screws on each side that hold the panomic.
The dealer tried tightening them, however after 200 kms the noise started again. Went back to the dealer and tightened the bolts again and on top of that they added some fabrique around the bolts, not sure what its called in english, in order to prevent from the getting loose again. 15 000 kms later still no panoramic noise. It cost me around £80 to complete this job at the dealership.

I wonder if this is the sound I hear ever so slightly when I hit rough patches of road. I can never figure out where it is. I will have to see if it is the pano or not.
