Hi Guys,
I know this subject has been covered multiple times but someone please confirm with me what size xpipe I need to buy. I believe it is 2.25" but I would like someone to confirm this for me. I want to order this as soon as possible so quick response is appreciated.

Gavro I completely agree with you but I found an X pipe online from Magnaflow that really does a good job in term of sound. I want to order and install but am uncertain of what size to actually order which is why i need help!

But I would highly recomend you visiting exhaust shop in order to dodge all possible problems. There is nothing to shame to ask them to measure it.

if you do not like X-pipe's which are supplied by you exhaust shops, you may bring your one.So what you need to do is visit them first of all and they are going to tell you which size is it. Or alternatively if you have friends working in garages and can lift up your car. Then you may measure it by your self as the process of deassambling resonator is Plug and Play.

it depends.
I am from city where no DYNO or people who remap or deal with tuning. You are in America, there are lots of professionals. They can do for you custom downpipe and high flow cat.
If you want to buy ready one, you should consider kleemann or Vath.
This cost about $1500 (downpipe+cat+high flow filter) and will give you and increase about 10-15 HP. But dont forget its recommended to adjust ECU after, so you car will work properly.

I'm not sure about Vath, but the Kleemann downpipe (minus catalyst) is $1300 and good for ~30hp. With catalyst, I believe it's closer to $3500 with similar performance. Either way, you'll need a tune to eliminate the check engine light since the sensors will read exhaust as out-of-limit.

the cost is exactly 1.195,00 EUR.
it will never produce 30hp by kit itself. only with performance exhaust.
There will be no check engine like, because there is a catalyst. If you would like to delete it , just buy fake sensor which will eluminate the check light.
Anyway, individual tune must be done , in order to control outflowing gas speed per each cylinder.

But I would guess the workshop would have to do something else besides welding with the bigger piping?
As for the X-pipe function, what does it really does? I have bought only full cat-back exhausts before, so not really familiar with it.
Does it improve sound at idle? When you turn it on? Accelerating?
Found this two videos, and you can barely notice any difference, at least a little one.
Wouldn´t be better to buy a muffler instead? Looking for options
